    Openvix freezing

    Hi
I've recently installed the latest openvix image on my tm twin and have noticed it freezing/jamming up to the point that to get it working correctly again I'm having to reboot the box.
    Any ideas?

    Stu

Try adding a swapfile on USB stick. Blue button > ViX > Swap file manager.

Also try installing cache flush plugin.

    Freezing during playback

    Hello all
    My woes continue
It appears that every time I playback something I've recorded the twin freezes up and I lose control of the box and have to restart
    My record settings are
    Default movie location /media/HDD/movie/
Default recording type descramble and record ecm
    All other settings are factory
I've set up a swap file 256mb and downloaded cache flush
    I'm using firmware openvix 4.1.001

Any ideas will be greatly received
    Stu

I have merged the two threads.

There is no need for cache flush.

Can you enabel debug logs and upload them after you have the issue.

    Hi Abu
    Thanks for your reply
I've just enabled the logs so as soon as I get a crash I'll upload, should I remove the cache plugin?

SOme receivers had an issue with memory leak. No need for it on the Twin. You can remove it.
