    I use Microsoft Security Essentials.

    Its also free, (as long as you have a ligitimate licence number or at least one that passes the windows validation )

    Unless I'm getting avg mixed up with another free av I've used previously, it's pants... Would recommend ms security essentials over most other free av...

    personally i would not trust AVG as far as i can spit. it's got more holes that swiss cheese.
    yes in it's day it was the best you could get but now it's total pants.

    I've been using Avast for years now, never had any problems with it.
    I do agree that AVG is crap though

    Yip, i also used AVG free, and found it pants, when comparing it with Avast..... far, far better, as far as freebie progs go, it uses very little memory and works away in the back gound, i like it anyway, !!
