Does anyone know where the IPTV add on Openvix has gone to please?

There was an app on Openvix which I added by downloading an add on, on an old version of Openvix it was called IPTV and allowed you to stream movies from a variety of sites like Yify etc and you could stream and download to your box. Is there anything like that still available if so what's it's name and where can I download it please?

    Thanks

There are issues building the plugin atm; the author has been asked to look into them.

You removed the iptvplayer from the plugin feeds because of some problems. OK. do you have a link to an .ipk to install it at our own risk? Or will completely crash our openvix 4.x box?

I just found the raw files for enigma2
    https://gitlab.com/iptvplayer-for-e2...e2/tree/master

i would prefer a package .ipk it is a lot easier
I found the IPK in this forum XD

Rob did not say it was removed from the image he said that it was failing to build. There is a huge difference between the two.

As for installing it manually via .ipk file try it your self and see. It's not like it's going to melt your receiver or any thing like that and if it does cause a crash just restore a earlier backup, assuming you made one in the first place.

Iptv player works a dream on solo2 4.2.004 I think. Install manually to usr/lib/enigma2/plugins also I think.
I'm sure it will be in the next few builds.

Just click here >> iptv media player ipk file

https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url...8&share_type=t and download, then ftp to your tmp folder and then press your Blue Button > ViX > Install Local Extensions. Then just highlight and press ok or the green button to install it.

    Hi,

I can run IPTV player fine on my ET8000 4.02.005 but i can't get it to work on a ET7500 4.02.005. It just buffers 5mb then spinning vix, won't play.
Is there a setting to change or will the ET7500 not cope with IPTV player?
