    Unhappy Tuner Fault

Hi, hope somebody can help me out on here. My friend bought an HD ULTRA when they 1st came out and just ran it with the open-mips image until recently when it was supported by VIX.. It has now developed a problem with the Vm tuner in that it can't pick up any channels whatsoever and I have tried it at my house with my cable feed and still get the same problem/fault..The network id is set correctly and also tried it with 00000 as the id still with no joy..The terrestrial part of the tuner works fine and picks up everything that it should do, but as soon as I change it back to dvb-c it fails..
Can anybody help me with this or do you think it is a dodgy tuner..
    John..

If the tuner works fine for terrestrial, it is fine.

You need to check the cable is active and has adequate signal. My broadband is fine, but DVB-C is non-functional for me. My siganl levels are balanced for the router only.
