I´ve compiled Openvix for Wetek Play

    Hello,

I´ve successfuly compiled openvix for Wetek Play. It´s starting but no enigma GUI is shown.
/var/log/messages shows the RC key presses codes but without function.
If I start kodi from ssh session it starts up and RC is working. So the problem must be with enigma2. Can somebody tell me if its possible to run openvix on wetek?

    I´ve compiled openvix with
    Code:
    make MACHINE=wetekplay DISTRO=openvix image

Our Wetek branch isn't up to date and imo not worth all the effort to run E2 on Wetek. Save your time and use an image already out there.

I've heard, but not tested myself, that OpenSPA image is pretty decent runs stable
    Code:

As mentioned by Sicilian the ViX Wetek branch is missing a lot of changes plus there has been a kernel change in December that is not working that well for me (but have a new build to test . )
OpenATV pre december build is fine and runs Kodi 15.2.

Ok, thanks for reply, I´ve tried this only for fun ;-)

Perhaps it will be possible in the future, I hope so, openvix looks very promising.

Thanks, I know about the different images like OpenSpa, PBnigma, OpenATV and OpenHDF ( OpenELEC and Android, too ).
I would only try and learn to build or modify my own image. And OpenVix look promising, so I tried it.

    Regards
