Question Channels and volume jumping up and down

Seem to have a weird problem with my 3T box. Tried several boxes all with the same problem but only happens on 1 particular TV and doesn't happen when on another TV

When turning the volume up or down or even the channels it's like the button gets stuck and keeps going and doesn't stop. I have a feeling it's maybe related in some way to the HDMI-CEC of the TV. Well Anynet+ since its a Samsung TV

I have it disabled but it the only thing I can think of as when I move the box to another TV it doesn't do it. Anyone else had this issue?

There was a problem with HDMI sockets on earlier Samsung LCD TVs of some years ago, Could your TV be one of these ? Have you tried connecting the TV via the Component connection if available to see if the same problem exists?
