GI Xpeed LX2 Boot up / start up time.

Hi, I think the Start up time of my Xpeed LX2 using OpenVIX ( power on --> displays a freeview channel) is much longer than my DM500s with openpli.

The DM is < 30 secs .. the Xpeed seems to be in excess of 80 secs .. maybe more ... is the Xpeed time normal
Is there something I have done in eh setup that might be causing the delay ? ?

    thanks

Boottime depends largely on the setup. Especially timers and autotimers can cause a considerable delay, as they are being checked during the start of E2.
But also plugins can cause this.
If you really want to sort out what causes it, it's best to flash without restore, and only add service-settings and a softcam. Then time the start up. Now start adding your features one by one and time again.

    ok - thanks Rob,

Does my 80 secs seem to long ... what would the shortest bootup time I could expect ?

Also, out of interest - are there any openpli images for the Xpeed LX2 available ?

    thanks

Mine from pressing the on/off button on the remote to getting a channel displayed is much less than that. I would say 10 seconds max. Obviously this is from standby.
