    Updating to Hades.018

    Hi guys havent been on here in ages so am a little behind on the scene ,iam running an old version of vix V3.0 808, and am now looking to update to openvix-Hades.018.release-tm2t_usb.zip, do i need to update the bootloader? or is it good to go as is?

    There was a new bootloader required for two images prior to Hades. So yes, you will need to update it.

    Abu whats the procedure for updating the bootloader? i cant seem to find any info on doing it. Its currently loaded on my usb stick.

    file extracted to formatted 8gb kingston,cruzer,integral.
    inserted/removed from box when powered off only.

    same procedure when reflashing the image give it plenty of time to load and reboot box.

    Ok ive flashed the new bootloader and the new image, all went well, but iam stuck on the setup screen, as my remote isnt recognised now, and i cant use the panel buttons.

    Scrub that, rebooted the box and it all seems to be working now, very odd.
