    I have just programmed my ET8000 remote to a hitachi tv at the moment all it will do is turn the tv on & off or move channels up & down, is it capable of other functions ? the only one i need is the source so i can switch from tv to hdmi (1)(2)(3) etc then i can get rid of the tv remote

    Trying pressing TV button to switch the remote into TV mode, and then the back button to cycle through the sources/inputs on the TV. This is how it works with my Samsung TV anyway.

    Sorted, when i originally scanned remote to tv it would only turn tv on & off, i re-programmed several times until the other buttons had various uses, now i can control a Hitachi TV with my ET8000 remote

    Can you switch the hdmi input by button though (not through cec)?

    Yeah the "back" button scrolls through the various sources Dtv-hdmi (1)(2)-vga-usb etc

    Trying to program the Xtrend remote on a bush LE-50GY15-M1 TV but I've tried all the codes on the above PDF but none of them work, any ideas?
