    stream from tm to iphone setup outside my network

    hi i have tried to set up streaming from my tm nano 2t to watch on my iphone and its works on my home network perfectly using app blackbox pro\

    but i cant never get it working on 3g or outside my network plaese any help would be gratfull

    Hi,
    as it seems the 2t does not have transcoding so you need 6-10MBit upload at home and the same as download in 3G to even get decent SD quality not to mention that it eats 2-3GB/hour watching tv while on the road.

    What did you try upto now? You need either a port forwarding of ports 80 and 8001 (do not forget to enable authentification and a decent password for your box) or preferably a VPN connection from your phone to your router. When you have VPN it should work the same way as if you were at home.

    Stream over 3G without transcoding could be quite hard. As far i understand your receiver does not support stream transcoding,if your receiver is with E2 and if you can leave runing computer in local network you cold try transcode stream with

    For phone it could recompress ~150-400MB hour.
