VLC Player E2 plugin for IPTV

Hi looking at iptv and was trying to get some info. Was looking for the E2 VLC plugin but cannot find it, can anyone post a copy or tell me where to get it.
If this is not the best can anyone point me in the direction of a better way to do it.
    Thanks
    Mark

Hi there, if you're using Openvix then VLC will be in Plugins - Extensions.

Why don't you just update? Easy enough and you will be back up and running in 5 minutes.

There is no VLC media player for Enigma2, at least not in the sense you are thinking about, the VLC plugin was if I remember correctly for streaming content to a PC not for watching it on the receiver.

media files on the E2 platform are handled primarily in the hardware, there are no real media players you can download to add for other formats, you cant add software codecs like you can on a PC etc.

    SIMPLES.

The (3) files that were changed are in the link Huevos posted: https://github.com/oe-alliance/enigm...3e8b084123c0cc

Probably best if you just wait for the image to update.

You can just put VlcServerConfig.py in that folder and restart enigma. Once you know it is working remove the py file.
