    recording on hd 6000

Hi I have been trying to figure out how to watch 1 channel and record another on my hd 6000 I have tried Google (no joy there) also tried various settings and button combinations but to no avail, as this particular function is one of the reasons I bought the box it is sheer frustration not to be able to make use of it.Any help will be greatly appreciated as I am totally stumped.Thanks.

You should have bought a twin tuner receiver if you wanted that ability. On the older spiderboxes you could watch another channel on the same transponder only but I dont know if the 6000 has this function - it is a budget receiver after all.

Thank you for the info I will give it a try later,it's a pity that there is not a decent instruction manual included with the box mine has 17 pages of poor pictures and even poorer English.Thankfully you guys are knowledgeable and don't mind answering questions from newbies thanks again.
