    Sorry but I'm not sure that I understood correctly.
    Your examples are valid only using a normal text editor like, say, Notepad or Notepad++.
    But what about POEdit usage?
    In POEdit, no fuzzy tags are shown, so I don't know which strings must be translated and which not.
    Many strings in the file seem related to the Help messages appearing at the left of the screen selecting menu items, and it would be interesting to translate these too.
    Could you please explain better? Thanks.

    Fuzzy entries show the fuzzy flag.

    Well, most (or all...) items marked as "Fuzzy" are already translated, so I suspect that many parts of the GUI can't be modified.
    Finally, best leaving English as GUI language.
    For me it is not a problem, I always selected English and I'm happy. As mentioned, I looked into this problem after one friend, but it seems almost an unuseful topic. Thanks.

    @Clemente,

    you can always compare against some other language translation, for example Finnish (fi.po) which is complete translation.

    Fuzzy means guessed by a machine... in other words, not translated.

    I've updated the .po file here: https://github.com/OpenViX/enigma2/c...5d93a5dc8a7ec1

    Most is now translated.

    Zip is attached so you can try it out and improve.

    You can test on your receiver. Put "enigma2.mo" from the zip in "/usr/share/enigma2/po/it/LC_MESSAGES" and restart the box in Italian.

    Tweak the po to remove any errors.

    You can rebuild the mo in POEdit and retest on your box.

    And any changes please post them back here.
