Patching a Spiderbox HD6000 for the first time

I am currently in the process of buying a SB HD6000 from this site.I've had a HD9000 for a long time and know that the latest patch contains 'everything' up to date.
Can I just confirm that if I install the latest HD6000 Patch dated 28/05/14 it will contain the same up to date ?

    Thanks

As you are buying a box box why not consider an E² Linux receiver and open up a whole world of possibility's and feature

For a little extra you could buy this

    http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/...on-XP1000-PLUS
    VU+ DUO² (Triple S2 tuners) VIX, 750gb
    TM-Nano 2 Super, 320gb
GigaBlue HD 800 UE Plus VIX
    TM-Single VIX IT'S ALIVE
    Octagon SF8 VIX (751MHz bootloader)
    MARA M9
    Harmony 700
DGS108 GBLAN, DIY NAS (8TB) XPEnology
1.1m dish, 0.1db Quad LNB, GTSAT DM14MG motor
    80cm dish, 2x 0.1db LNB + 1x Quad 0.2db LNB, Disqec 4/1.

It probably is a very good box but is it easy to set up or would you need a degree in computer science!

Chris - does one need a null modem to install patch? Can it not be done by USB, HDMI?

Did you sort this? How? What kind of cable are you using to load the patch?
