Need to know why my tm 5402 is picking up wrong satellite channels

First time here so apologies for whatever isn't right. I'm trying to set-up my tm 5402 and I have been able to get 13E, 19.2E, 23.5E and 28.2E (my 1meter motorised dish isn't quite right yet) but now I can't get 23.5E even though I did last night. Even though the receiver says it's searching 23.5E it finds 19.2E and 28.2E but nothing in between. There is a strong enough signal on most satellites. Can anyone tell me why the receiver looks for one satellite but picks up another. I've done factory resets, correct Longitude, Latitude, deleted all channels and started again etc. etc. This may seem stupid to some people but it's foxing me at the moment. Any guidance greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Alan

Are you picking up Thor on 1 degree west? if not then I suggest your dish is misaligned that is why you are not always picking up 23 east.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I can't pick up Thor so I will get the dish more accurately aligned and then hopefully I should get a lot more satellites than I do at the moment. It just seemed strange that one day I could get 23 East and the next day I couldn't. The same is happening now with 13E but there again I have a one metre dish and with all the wind we've had lately plus only a 56 signal strength anyway, the dish has probably shifted just enough to lose the signal altogether. Thanks again and sorry for the late reply to you but I've been away.

Definitely misaligned if you're only getting 56% signal strength on Hotbird.
