usb dvb-t tuner issue with venton hd2

Hi, merry Xmas and happy New year to everyone.
I have a usb dvb-t tuner installed on both my venton hd2 and solo 2, running vix 808 image on both, tuner uses 913x driver. Everything installs fine on both receivers but on the venton when I switch to any Sat station and then back to saorview I just get a blank screen with epg. I have to do a full restart to use the usb tuner again. Everything is fine with the solo 2. The tuner will work fine on the venton until I switch to a Sat station, then restart is required again. Have already tried switch usb tuners with same result. Any suggestions or is it just a venton driver issue.

It does sound like a driver issue.
However, if you enable debug logs, restart so that they kick in, then upload one here when this happens, we might get a better idea of what's going wrong.

    Lots of:
    Code:
    ERROR: accelAlloc failed
ERROR reading section - Value too large for defined data type

poll: unhandled POLLERR/HUP/NVAL for fd 43(8)
    accel alloc failed

    ERROR: accelAlloc failed
    accel alloc failed

    ERROR: accelAlloc failed

This propably wont help your issue, but any chance you can use the default ViX-Night Skin, reboot to a Saorview station, switch to a sat station & then back to Saorview? basically, as few button pushes as possible on the default skin.
    Then upload that debug log.
Still looks like a Venton driver issue, better to narrow it down first though.

I have switched to the vix-night skin and done as you asked, same result.
    log file attached.
Also noticed I lose sat epg when I boot to a saorview station.
