    The best image for TM 800HD

    I want to upgrade a friends TM 800HD, a box i'm not familiar with. What's the best image? Will it take the VIX image? Can anyone help here?

    I know this is not a direct response to your question... After TM decided that it was not worth throwing money at software development for it, they offered the part exchange option. There was no time limit mentioned so hopefully they will still offer this. They usually offered £50 PX value agianst one of their receivers. I would recommend this and get a Nano with optional HDD kit. You can then use the VIX image on it.

    If you decide to persevere, in terms of images, the WOS image worked fine. You will have to edit the rytec file if epg is required. Always make a backup so that when it crashes you can reflash the image straight away.

    All dw images are good still got one running a dw sly image all ok
