    Help with HDD

    Ok lads I have a HDD on the laptop with basically everything on it. As you can see from the pic below its showing up on another pc and laptop after being taken out of the original laptop...My wife turned on and off the laptop a few times and f***ed it up....I cant get anything off it. I have tried data recovery software even tried formatting and no good. Please help all the kids photos are on there.

    If you can see it on the other laptop can you follow paths to the relevant user/photos etc

    Recuva can also see it i.e. drive E but cant access it

    You can try diskcheck or scan disk to try and correct any errors. Google diskcheck and your OS and run. This allows windows to attemp to fix errors, then restart.

    Alternatively, you could have malware that requires a malware scan.

    Ok I was up till all hours and at it again this morning. Its really strange. The main part of the disk is getting read but I take it the start of it must be the problem
