    Thumbs up How to backup and restore your VU+ Duo2 LCD4Linux config

    How to backup your VU+ Duo2 LCD4Linux config.

    1) Menu > Setup > Plugins > Select LCD4Linux.
    2) Once you've accessed the plugin press Menu button on your remote.
    3) Select Save config to file and press ok.
    4) You will be prompted to give the file a name, I just use the default name that is prompted.
    5) The config file will then be saved to /tmp.
    6) Retrieve the config file using FTP.

    How to restore your VU+ Duo2 LCD4Linux config.

    1) FTP your config to /tmp.
    2) Menu > Setup > Plugins > Select LCD4Linux.
    3) Once you've accessed the plugin press Menu button on your remote.
    3) Select Load file and press ok.
    4) Exit out of all screens, your LCD screen should now be using the new config. If not change TV channel.

    BTW: All settings can be done via the WEB-IF: http://boxip/lcd4linux/config

    I have VIX 775 installed on my Duo2 and can no longer access the lcd config via WEB-IF as described above is anyone else experiencing this Thanks

    I have the same problem again with VIX Build 802, Also I can not load LCD config as described in post #1 Thanks

    Hi,

    Do you have a link to the LCD4Linux plug in as no plug ins show up anymore on my box and will need to transfer it using filezilla.

    @sillygilly - I've replied to on the other thread you created on this. The GB Quad Plus doesn't need LCD4 plugin to work with a ViX image.
    GB Quad Plus, Mut@nt HD51, AX HD61, 80cm dish and Supreme Dark motor. Sony STR-DN 1060, Sony UHP-H1 Bluray, Odroid N2+ (CoreElec), Monitor Audio Bronze 5.1 speakers
