    Graphic Problem

    Hi everyone. Over the last couple of weeks I have been getting lines on my monitor. Especially bad when watching a movie or something. Please see pic below.

    silly one have you taken out the cables and plugged back in??? might be dusty/loose or could be a dodgy cable??!?!?!?!

    Only time I've ever seen this was when I fried a graphics card due to the cooling fan failing. Repairing (or replacing - I can't remember) the fan made no difference. I needed to get a new graphics card. In addition to checking the cables, it would be worth checking the fan on the card, and making sure the card is correctly seated in the motherboard , before going to the expense of replacing the card. And I agree with blu-ray. It looks exactly like someone's playing space invaders!
