Vu+ Player for Android now available on Google Play

Thanks guys, but think the issue is with the key mappings in the app rather than any issues with the techno mate receivers. Post the issue earlier in this thread and telleke said he would try and take a look. Guess he never found time.

As I mentioned in my previous post, some stuff/corrections did not make it for this release. Sorry.

VU have been using the wrong key mapping for a long time, don't hold your breath.

I think you must be registered as an Android Dev and I assume VU does not want to do it. Download is a lot simpler for them.

this version immediately crashes on my galaxy note 4 with android 4.4.4. maybe because of the uhd screen resolution? i liked the ios version before switching to android.

Unfortunately guys you really need to be telling this to Vu+, the author has now ceased work on this project and passed his work onto Vu+, it is now in their hands to fix, maintain and release it.

By all means please do but also report any and all bugs directly to Vu+ (the more the better), also it may be a good idea to create a new thread specifically to post bugs in as they will get lost in this one due to it's size and as stated the OP is no longer maintaining this plugin for Vu+.

Yep I submitted bug report on vu+ website hopefully they will do something about it.

i cannot get this to work when im not at home.............works fine when im home
could somebody give a detailed guide on how to set it up tp work outwith your own 4 walls
using a kindle fire hdx
