    Hi,
as almost everybody must have noticed these commands and previous tricks to not work any more. If you have a Logitech Harmony there is a new solution:

In device settings, power settings configure the VU to have 2 button for on and off. For On use a sequence of:

    blue, power toggle, exit

For Off use a sequence of:

exit, exit, menu, up, OK, OK

And now explanation why it works:

On opens plugin list if device is powered on and then power toggle is ignored and exit closes the plugin list again. When device is powered down blue is ignored and power toggle switches the box on. In this case exit simply does nothing.

Off powers the box down by using the menu. If the box is powered down all commands are ignored.

It might be possible the the power on/off sequences must be slightly adjusted to the own box configuration. I hope the principle of these "discrete" sequences has been made clear so that you can make the necessary adjustments.

    ciao

But as you know not all Harmonies have 'sequences'.

Help asked via PM will be ignored.
The forum is there for help and all will benefit from your questions.

    Hi,
I know but most/all of the recent models have. Now I only have to find such a solution for my XBMC PCs.
