    Windows fails update everytime?

Hi all,i keep getting this update 8024200D= Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SP2 on Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 x86 (KB2604105)

    Installation date: ‎01/‎11/‎2012 12:00

    Installation status: Failed

    Error details: Code 8024200D

    Update type: Important

A security issue has been identified that could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to compromise your system and gain control over it. You can help protect your system by installing this update from Microsoft. After you install this update, you may have to restart your system.

This is running on windows Vista and it has failed to install approx ten times, looked on microsoft website but found no answer. There was some program available on there that i tried and this also did not resolve the issue.

Anybody any idea a way round this problem, and if its really important as im not sure what this does anyway? thanks all in advance, olly

    Try a forum such as
    Code:
    www.vistaforums.com
    or
    Code:
    forums.overclockers.co.uk
Though Windows 8 is a hotter subject.
