    Yep yet another scumbag this one is calling it the VU+ Duo CE - the CE stands for Chinese Edition Also the VU+ Solo CE and snide Dreamboxes and God knows what else.

    Hopefully VU+ can come out with a meaningful counter measure.

    For those thinking about buying one of these please bear in mind whilst in the short term you will save your self some money, long term you will lose out. If VU /DMM don't make money there wont be any innovation because as sure as hell, the clone makes wont be creating new boxes that can handle XMBC etc.

    Never mind if there unscruplouse enough to rip the boxes off there aint going to be much in the way of customer servcies.

    Had a very interesting conversation with fire investigation chappie, boxes wouldn't have been tested to conform with any kind of regs so if your house burned down because of it........ No insurance. That would apply to any non confirmed electrical appliance

    yes thats very true, any device that has not been put past these legally binding safeguards to comply with safety standards will void your house insurance should the worst happen and the box malfunction. just another thing to consider.
