Exclamation struggling with motor set up !!

    Hi everyone .
i am having problems setting up my motorised system
i have tried various images ,am now back on original 4.6 with downloaded plugins satfinder and positioner set up . currently the motor wont move from 19.2e with no matter how i try to do it (but it has with some of the other images) ...( if i put my 7025+ back on moves fine ).
my settings are the same as a screen shots a friend sent me ...although currently i i only have 1 x Lnb input in , thats on to lnb 1(input) .
have downloaded and transfered an upto date sats xml and channel list . which helped me lock on to channels on 19.2 but again no movement . so !!!! Huh? any ideas anyone ...Hello anyone .....Help me !!!!!!!! Grin

What are you using, is it a DiSEqC motor with USALS? You can this connected to Tuner A, can you post how you have configured Tuner A please, perhaps even attach this screen shot for us to look at... Also 4.9 is the latest original image, not 4.6, personally I'd suggest you use one of the the third party images though, the vuplus-support.co.uk newbies image is a great place to start, we'll still need to know how you've configured your tuner(s) though....

Here is what I done to get the motor working with USALS

First get your longitude & latitude info

    Press Menu
    Select Setup
    Select Service searching
    Select Tuner configuration
Select Tuner A and press OK

    Configuration Mode: Simple
    Mode: Positioner
    Longitude: your longitude
    Latitude: yourlatitude

    Press OK to save.

    Press Menu
    Select Setup
    Select service searching
    Select Positioner Setup
Select goto 0 Press RED Button

    Dish should now goto 1w.

aha OK please if possible can you find the model of the motor, we really need to find out if it supports USALS (well not NEED to but it'll make things a hell of a lot simpler).... I take it this is just a SuperJAck DiSEqC motor, it's not an actuator arm with a 36V feed?

I've been having a search around, I think chances are this will be a USALS motor, so lets assume it is for now until we find out different.... Can you PM me your address and I'll look up your USALS settings, in the mean time please flash the DUO with the image here http://www.vuplus-support.co.uk/show...at-for-newbies

Shouldn`t you select all satellites in the tuner A config?

Ok so the dish did move though.... Well there is honestly nothing more I can think of right now for this, USALS is so simple normally, I'm not THAT familiar with none-USALS settings as I've never set them up myself, only read what others have done..... Which is why if these aren't working I'm struggling to advise further... I will have a go with my DUO in the advance setup this evening and see if I can get it to work without USALS so I'm more familiar with it, in the mean time though if anyone else has other advice please feel free!
