No its for the slingplayer software this is the remote and the software for viewing on your mobile etc.You need the remote file this goes into a specific file on the windows version of the slingplayer software, this wil configure slingplayer software windows and slingplayer android to the vu+ remote your then be able to use both your windows and android devices remotely either on 3 g or wifi use. Its a bit of a learning curve but once you have used it its a fanstatic service, i use it on my galaxy s 2 and its brilliant any quests sign up to the slingbox support forum.Just to add the slingplayer windows software is free you can find it on sofpedia

Ive not used a pro hd but i guess you could use a hdmi amplified splitter then you can connect both your dreambox and slingbox at the same as well as connecting to your tv too, your have to have very good upload speed to be able to stream hd content.I haver a slingbox solo and i never had an issue with the picture quality

I have a vu+ solo2 & a slingbox solo but I don't see in the supported list vu+ receivers, meaning no virtual remote control for vu+ devices
anyway to get one for solo2 installed?
I see above a duo 2 remote what is done with the file to make it work? is this placed in ios, android & windows? or can it be loaded to work with all?
    thanks

The Duo2 remote control can be setup using the Ultimo files. I would guess the Solo2 would also work with the Ultimo files.

The Slingbox forums tell you how to set up the remote control on a PC.

A quick run through of the process is:

First put the Ultimo files in the sbav folder - then launch the player and:
    setup assistant - config video - Standalone DVR - Other - Custom - V2010
