Two builders have been suspended for wolf-whistling at a woman in Hertfordshire, England.
The move came after the woman's husband lodged a complaint against the duo to the district council, arguing that they sexually harassed his wife, SWNS reports.
Thomas O'Mahony, the managing director of building company Maylim Ltd, said: "We were alerted by the council, who had received an email of complaint.
"We acted within half an hour of being alerted to the complaint. It's company policy to immediately suspend anyone who is made the subject of a complaint by the public."
The man has since decided not to take further action, allowing the suspended builders to return to work.
O'Mahony, however, condemned the behaviour, continuing: "We don't tolerate wolf-whistling or any form of sexual harassment. It's unacceptable, we are in the public eye and our image is important.
"The two men are in their mid-20s, and they have been invited in tomorrow for a discussion. They denied the allegations and were frustrated to be off work."
