Hi everyone,

http://linux-tv.com/vu-uno-reviewI have just released my review of the VU+ Uno and I used the ViX Team Image after briefly testing the stock firmware.

Is the blindscan included in the ViX Team Image and if so where do I find it?

Thanks in advance.

That's a very nicely put together article. at present i dont believe VIX has enabled the blind scan feature for the Uno ( or at least like you i could not find it on my Uno )

Very nice review of the uno

blind scan on the et5000/et9000 is in service search/manual scan/then toggle through type of scan till you find blind scan :p

nope it's not there on with VIX on the Uno running the latest beta image, only gives options for single transponder / single satellite and multisat. no options for blindscan.

here is a very quick set of scans i just performed using the blindscan feature on the Uno with the offitial Image. Is there any way to get it to perform all those scans in one run?

Also, you are doing an overlap in that scan so it could do it even faster and still cover all frequencies. Not that it matters as it will only store one copy of the channels in the overlap. Correct settings would be 950 - 1950 in low band, and 1100 - 2150 in high band.

@Linux-TV, what did it mean in the review that blind scan hasn't been optimised yet?
