Hi,

I have flashed my dm800 clone with original image and the box is dead.
The box display only (DREAM multimedia).
I have tried to reflash the box with nabilosat image without success.
Did anyone succeeded to revive a clone DM800 box after flashing original image?

Please help!!!

Don't have a DM but thats a common error on clones, search google and there is a UK based website that will guide you through it had dreambox in the title.
Dont take this as gospel just recalling what I have read but you need to get an image that is compatible with your bootloaded and use dreamup to reflash. Failing that buy a ET5000 or DU from the sponsor and stick that crap in the classified on this site.

when using dream-up, make sure that you are off the net, you must diable your fire wall and you anti virus, start dream-up first them start your dreambox, and also make sure you have the correct com port, usually 1 or 3..... cheers ....

in its current state it is not possible to flash the dreambox using the network connection. you must flash it using null modem. the 'no ca found' error is a mismatch between image and bootloader and as has been said identifies that the box is indeed a clone. being a clone it is crucial that you know what version of clone as this dictates what version of bootloader and clone image you use. if it is a relatively new box i would flash it with bootloader 76 and then put a compatible dream elite image on the box. all this is done using dreamup (I have found version 1.3.3.4 to be the most stable version of dreamup) and the null modem cable connected between dreambox and computer

another thought. it is possible that it is a genuine dreambox and what you did is flashed it with a clone image. this will not work and you will get the error described. in such a case download the correct image from dream multimedia and flash it as described using dreamup

Read the op's first post, he clearly know it's a clone ;)

This is the risk you take purchasing a cheap clone from china! There's soo many genuine receivers out that there run Enigma 2 so really dont see why anyone still buys these cheap rubbish clones.

clone or no clone its simple to get it working again. null modem flash and off you go
