Thanks for you effort, but:

First of all:
for E2-boxes running PLi or PLi-based images (such as ViX), the satellites.xml should go to etc/enigma2
Reason for this is that this is a user-file, and the systemfile in /etc/tuxbox should not be overwritten (it is being updated automatically during an image-update.

Secondly:
no need to upload any files at all; under 'useful links' in the top-bar you'll find a perfect location to create your own xml (links to our own perfect generator (http://satellites-xml.org/))
