morning.ive got my hdd working.but can anyone tell me why when it goes into deepsleep refesh gui or reboots i have to intailsed the hard drive everytime?? thank you

Which image are you using? You shouldn't need to initialise everytime. What type of hdd doe you have? I'm guessing you're using a usb hdd, not a network share? Have you got it mounted correctly? Depending on which image you're using, you might need to set up an fstab.

Haven't used an et5000 myself, so can't help exactly, but give us more info, and we'll see what we can do :p

emagini image and hdd is 320gb.maybe its the imaige then?? yes mounts ok.i format restarts mount it resarts.then i have to intailzed??

I assume you mean the egami image? I haven't gotten around to testing this image out yet... So I don't know how the mount manager works in that image...

Have you tried creating an fstab option? In /etc/fstab, enter the correct line for your usb to mount it to /media/hdd...
