Good morning,

I want to change my TV set , most of new models are HDCP compatible...HDCP is a protocol used for copy protection.

My to day TV set is not compatible HDCP (with DVI connector) and it works perfectly with my Vu solo HD. My question would i be able to record HD with my Vu solo with new TV set HDCP compatible?

Thank you for your replies,

regards,

I wouldn;t worry on that front, if it was an issue you would not be able to move stuff of the box or watch it on a PC.
Your TV can be HDCP compliant but its the device sending the signal that controls what happens to it, your TV being HDCP compliant or not is not relevant to what the SOLO can record.
