View Full Version : cccam vix2.2
I just tried to install another version of cccam from ipk installer and i got an error message, cccam still runs but i am unable to clear anything, any ideas what could be wrong?
Just wondering what is the best way to uninstall cccam so i am able try a different version? Thanks
the CCcam.cfg file needs to be in the /etc/ folder, then try restarting your camand maybe do a reboot
Yep edited my first post as i made a mistake, the cccam.cfg file is in the ect folder but no joy.
which version of CCcam did you install? also did you name the file CCcam.cfg (exactly like that)

Ive been running 2.1.3 with no probs but tried to instal. 2.2.1 so i could get ecm times to show, but got the error message when i tried to install, now nothing will open. The cccam.cfg is the correct one that i have been using.
hmm i take it you downloaded it from the 4shared link on this forum
http://www.4shared.com/dir/wnyHV50A/VIX_CAMS.html
and the CCcam 2.2.1 file i use is the one named
enigma2-plugin-cams-cccam.2.2.1_1.0-r0_mipsel.ipk
yes that was the one, but it failed to install
what was the error message when u tried to install it? u tried uninstalling it and trying it again? try downloading the ipk file again from a different browser and putting it in the /tmp folder and then installing it again
Ok so ive just put c line in from my internal server and it opened up, so maybe my iexternal server has gone down which i am using an N line for if that makes any difference?
Could you please tell me the best way to uninstall the old version of cccam so i can try a different one, or do i not need to? cheers

It said something like version 2.1.3 is already in use so cant continue.
cant talk about cardsharing as its against the rules but you know what the problem is. The best way to uninstall the cam is to go to menu/plugins/red (remove plugins)/cams/ and remove your cam from there

Ok thanks i have removed it as you said and installed 2.2.1 but now it says both 2.1.3 and 2.2.1 are running? even though 2.1.3 has been removed?
restart the box then go back into plugins and see if it has been removed. there should only be CCcam 2.2.1 in the cams section
Yes thats done the trick thanks for you help, running 2.2.1 with ecm times
