just getting confused
ive got a vu+duo and
its set up
one tuner has got the sky fixed dish ,with quad lnb other 2 going to sky+in other room
i want to add another motorized dish 80 cm with a dark motor ,
should i go for the single inverto lnb or the dual ,,there is only one input which is to be utilized at the moment
want to record 2 channels at the same time ,,
when i was having the sky single cable in the reviver it was allowing me to record only one channel ,,the second had to be on the same transponder ,,
is there any way of getting around it ,,
should i get the quad lnb like Ive got on my sky fixed dish
to achieve 2 recording on the motorized dish as well
thanks

The LNB is only one part of the watch one and record another. You also needa twin tuner and in your case as one is already used by another sat, your not going to be able to do that unless you have two cables from the motor dish going to the DUO. With the sat up you have described you cant even do loop through either.

if you already have one tuner taken up by a fixed dish them you can only have one more cable to the other, there is no real point in using a twin or quad lnb as even with a switch iot would not give you any thing more, unless you ditch the motor and go for a multi lnb setup on the second dish.
