Hi guys..

I bought an ET9000 from one of our members here on this forum..

Unplugged my DM8000 and connected up the ET9000

I can not for the life of me get the volume to work..

I have checked and double checked all connections.. I even took away the HDMI cable and used a scart.. just to see if that was the problem.. But still no volume / sound..

Please can anyone help me with this as as its doing my head in.. lol

Thanks

have you had a look in A/V Settings and checked what you have in there to make sure they are correct?

have you got it connected directly to the tv or thro and amp?

therefore are you using the xtrend remote for the volume or the amp remote?

have you tried an optical cable?

Got a new one today, no sound using scart, hdmi works ok, spent all night using various leads on other tv's, still no joy. Box must be faulty.

Going to send it back, not a good start.

could be a driver issue not a faulty box ?

Are you sure that your using a fully wired quality scart lead?

Have you turned on AC3 downmix? Have you pressed the Audio button and selected a mpeg audio?

Doubt that the receiver is fualty.
