i use crossepg , but every time i power the box down and switch it back on i loose the epg listing n have to force a reload.how can i solve this problem

Just tick yest to force reload on boot up, its in the configure menu.

i use crossepg and always works for me after reboot. where are you storing your epg? my settings are shown in the screenie below

Also, how are you powering the box down? Are you putting it in to deep standby first? And what image/version are you using?

ive tried that but it still doent work

Can you dump your CEPG configure screen like punisher has. Need to telnet into box and write grab -p, there will be a jpeg in tmp folder call screenshot.

I also have problem loading my Epg. Did not have this problem when i had Vix2.1. since install vix 2.2 .epg does not come up at all. save the epg on Usb. Delete everything on the hard drive epg folder and epg.dat. Run the cross epg everything is directed to Usb but after download open epg it always create epg.dat on Hdd rather than Usb.

when you have deleted everything off the hdd and set the epg to be stored on usb then do a reboot first and then try downloading the epg again and see if that gets it working for u

Thats strange. Ive never had a problem with epg on usb or hdd. What kind of crash happens for u, green screen or box jus freezes up?

Can u post ur crash logs here. They should be in media/hdd just put the latest ones in. Zip em and attach them here
