TM5402 HD work with Mgcamd?

Anyone know if Mgcamd works on the TM5402 receiver?

The TM5402 works with NewcamD protocol, which MgcamD is based upon, so while it is not actually mgcamd itself that runs on the 5402, if you have a CWS line for an mgcamd client, you can enter it into the 5402 and it will work exactly the same

Does NewcamD work as efficiently as MgcamD? I discovered that MgcamD runs much better than CCcam by chance the other day..

mgcamd runs on newcamd protocol, the main difference is that mgcamd is a client only but newcamd is a server AND a client

the 5402 (for now) can only act as a client, but personally, i prefer mgcamd as cccam has security 'issues'
