channles no not proper in

ive downloaded silverfox0786 E2 HD 28.2E uk sd DTT (HD SWap 01.04.00 bouquet in my duo .
but bbc hd is on channle 0 and channel 2 is showing some pic with green background with sky logo and coming soon there ,,
other channles like if i press them takes me to some other channles
channles 1-5 are not showing any hd channels just normal channels ,,1-5
like 806 in sky is for ary news it would take me to 512 ,by pressing the 806 on the remote numbers ,,
i also see 2 numbers on the channle ,an example
552 806 ary news
,,
is there any bouquet ,,where i can get the same numbers of the sky channels
also noted that colours is not in there either ,,
if i go on to the correct channel from epg and then pressing + or - from ch is takeing me to the next channel ok ,,
i am using vix 2.1
what i am missing silverfox0786 bouquet

When you transferred the channel did you have allow duplicate enabled int he option box? if not enable it and than FTP the channels again.

also if your using a bouquet dated 01.04.11 that is vastly out of date. silverfox now releases his bouquets under the VIX name, he released a new set maybe a week or so ago. try those along with the suggestion of stanman.

I don't think so I did I will do this and let you know ,tbey aresome channels well as packs ,sports,international in the dreambox edit screen on my pc ,how do you change them iwill ftp them using dbedit 4which I downloaded in a pack from this site has got other usefullapps in.ir as well

First off, use the very latest bouquets, there now here under the VIX team banner

To get BBC 1 and BBC HD you will need to do a rescan as they were changed since Silver uploaded the bouquets. You will not need to re added just rescan and pic will return.

these are the ones which i have used ,reinstalled them checked the option to allow duplicate entries in(user) bouquet in the advanced menu of db edit ihad ver4 ,iam using the vu+easytool ,

when i go to the bouquet selector it gives me the option like

etc etc
but when i select the sky the numbers are not right ,,
when i key in 806 it takes me to 591
and so on
channel 2 takes me to 0 which is bbc hd
and pressing number 7 from the remote takes me to the 105 ch 5hd
pls tell me how can i have put them like it are in my sky box

104 ch4 hd
105 ch 5 hd
806 ary news ,,
i mean i want to key in the number and it should take me to the same channle like 806 should take me to 806 not the 591 channel

Download and use the above if already not done.
In the options tab there is a tick box ALLOW DUPLICATES, make sure this is ticked and it will keep the same sly numbering.

the channles name might be according to sky ,,but when i press 806 on remote it takes me to 591 channel ,,
in the bouquet if you see the international ,,the asian channels are starting from 420 while in sky they are starting from 801
is there any way of changing it

Post up large screen dumps of all your settings as I have used SF bouquet and not had single problem.

As far as I can see you have not allowed duplicate as BBC should not be at 1. This is how it should look.

Can you do a screen dump of your advance tab in options as well as profile - but oscure username and password

what u done mate is screwed up the bouquets what u need to do is redownload the rar again fresh and start from scratch then it will work ok

i have released a new set dated today anyway so use that one

nasically what u did was when u didnt allow duplicates it removed all teh duplicates so corupting the bouquet set

Just you dreamboxedit and it will overwrite them but ensure allow duplicate is enabled.

your sky bouquete starts from channel 91
perviosuly it was starting from channel 0 i mean when you press 91 on your remote it takes you to bbc hd ,,and there are lots of gaps in the international channel as well
if you key in 806 in your remote it takes you to channel 810 and then there are few gaps in the channel numbers as well ,,
thats what i was talking about ,,is there any way to fix that ,,
like if you key in 105 on your remote it takes you to channel 105 like we are using a sky remote ,,

Start again mate and download the boquets, you might have saved them the changes to the folder before you transferred them to the box. Make sure enable duplicate is enabled.

ive tried it ,its still the same ,,
when i try to install the earlier versions there are no gaps in the channels ,, press 806 on remote takes you to channel 810
look if you go to sky and check channel 806 then after that channel 808 comes channel 807 is not there ,it skips straight to the next channel ,
but in silverfox its blank ,,like you have to press + twice to move to that channel ,,this is an example dont know the correct channle numbers
and also channles numnbers uptil 97 are blank ,,you get bbc channel on if you press 97 on your remote ,thats annoying
how to fix that ,

What is the difference in number between the SKY numbering and your settings and at what channel do they start ie does 101 = BBC1 301 = Premier HD?

What you can do is copy and paste 4 channels before 97 to do this open up the bouquets in dreamboxedit and than right click 50 and copy and than right click and paste - do this 4 times and than send them back to the box.

Are all the other channels out by 4 as well?

no this is not the case .
let me give you what it is ,,
channel start from 97 bbc 1hd
priot to 97 all channels are numbered starting from 0 ----96 but are almost blank ,,and only the vu+duo radio screen is showing ,,
112 116 bbc4
113 blank vu+duo radio screen showing up
114 118 itv2hd see the channel 113 is blank so its taken the 117 number and after this on 114 is channle 118

this is very weird
there is some gaps in the bouquet ,, this was not happening in the previous bouquet i mean the 1.6 one by silverfox
its doing my head in
can some one help me how to get rid of them
can some one post me a working bouquet ,,or should i go back to the 1.6 one ,,but there the channel were starting from 0 bbc hd

There will be channels with no names - there called placeholders and are needed to keep the numbering the same as SKY SO 1 should be BBC and 2 - 100 should be blank.

you can see now the blank channels which show the vu+radio pic ,,its quite annoying when you start to change channel and suddenly you have the radio channel ,when there are a couple of blank channels you get the radio screen ,,but you have to keep pressing the + on ch to move to that channel which has got any number for it to show the pic ,,

mate just start over please, cant see what you have. Download a fresh set of silverfoxes very latest bouquets and use the tutorial in my signature. If you are really stuck can sort it out over teamvier later on tonight.

as pointed out however, where there are gaps in the sky epg such as 1 to 100 you will see a blank channel or one with a picture / url. these are place holder channels. they are needed to keep the sky channel lineup, you can not hide / remove them otherwise the bouquet will cease to function properly. you must also enable the "allow duplicate entries in (user) bouquets " within dreambox edit ,do this before you open any bouquets however as it will corrupt any bouquet if not set before.

if your not to fussed about keeping the sky uk channel lineup try the SGTFlipFlop sky uk bouquets.

Try just using the top bouquet call Sky Uk 28.2e by silver fox..
