I have installed the vix image onto my ET9000 and have it set up ok. One thing is there doesn't seem to be any plugins to download from server. Also if I go to update software there is never any updates. Is this normal on the ET9000?

on the updates.. Once you flash your image you should then do all the updates needed.. If there are more updates you will prolly find out about them on this forum..

As for your plugins..

Long press Blue button..
Then short press green button..

after a few seconds the Vix plugins menu will open up..

Thanks for the reply m8. If I press long blue I get cool tv guide (presumably I set this at some stage :) ) Is there another way of getting the downloadable plugins up? As for the updates I first flashed the image onto the box about 2 weeks ago. Due to the time between when the image was released and then I was expecting to find some updates available but there were none. Should there have been?

There has been no new online update for a while we are currently in the final beta testing stages of et9000 VIX 2.2 which will have the all the latest drive installed

plus lots of new features and additional functionality

Not sure tbh. I'm gonna re-flash. Is that the one I should use then?

well I've just re-flashed and the first thing I have tried to do b4 setting anything up is online software update and it finds 0 packages. also the plugins download page still says no new plugins found. Is this a prob with my network do you think?

It could possibly be a problem with are servers i will ask admin to see if there is a problem

try a network test in network settings to see if you have a problem accessing the net or you router has not assigned your box a ip address

this has been happening since I first installed a couple of weeks ago. I can download from the tspanel though

You will need to update the servers, they were changed a while back and there is a thread on here of how to do it and the server path files have been posted in that thread.
