vix 2.1 and hard drive installation

i've been reading through the threads here and it seems that there was a problem installing a hard drive under vix 2.0, where the disk wasn't recognised. has this been fixed for 2.1 or will i need to install 1.3?

does changing the image affect the bouquet etc?

I have a samsung and hitachi in a DUO and ET, no problems whatsoever.

thanks for the reply. i have not yet installed a hard drive and have possibly gone about setting up the box in an "arse about tit" fashion by leaving the hard drive till last. this won't cause any problems will it?

Shouldn't do. Just make sure when you do it to put box into deepstandby before powering off.
