Difference Between "Restart" and "Restart Enigma"

Hi,

Would somebody please explain what the difference is between "Restart" and "Restart Enigma" that are available with a long press of the standby button?

restart full powers down the box then restarts it. restart enigma just restarts the enigma operating system without powering the box down.

Just to elaborate on phoenix a little... In windows terms, the restart has to load all bios, then drivers and settings etc, as well as the e2 software. Whereas the restart e2 just needs to load settings and e2 software. In timing terms, a full restart should tak between 1m 10s to 1m 40s, whereas a restart of e2 only takes around 30 seconds...
