quick question

I use the new Silverfox settings on my VU Duo, the HD swap ones, now todays latest ones have the FTA HD channels swapped like the sky ones before it, ie ITV HD is now 103 instead of 178 and BBC 1 HD is now 101 and not 143 etc.

Now, I have autotimers set up for Eastenders and Emmerdale (not for me I might add!!), these I set up when the channels were on the old numbers last month, ie ITV HD was still on 178 etc, my question is will the autotimers still record from that channel or the SD equivolent which now is at 178 and not 103?

They will record from the channels doesnt matter where they are. The AT looks for the channel name and not position in the bouquet.

I didnt knw the answer but i checked auto timer settings and edit filters and as stanmn says it is done by channel names and not number or position

Thanks guys, it did record some last night from the AT and I think its done it correctly, will check later.
