hi all,
looks like i'll be staying with folks longer than expected, so to stay sane I want to add 2 feeds from their fixed sly dish to another room or 2, need a break from their TV choices at times...

Can I get an LNB that takes 6 or 8 cables? if so, does the sponsor have one?

Googling shotgun cables came up with this ebay sale:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/30m-Black-Twin-Satellite-Shotgun-Cable-Sky-Plus-Clips-/270249446590
no idea about cable prices, so is this a decent offer? once again if sponsor has them, please let me know.

Also, if I go ahead and replace the current quad LNB, do I need a sat meter or something to ensure new LNB is lined up correctly?

any help appreciated, thanks.

You can get away with using a dual LNB and 1 by multi switch eg bc89340 4 o/p or bc89380 8 o/p
