I would be interested in the opinions of the forum experts on what they feel is the best (in terms of value for money and ease of setup etc) sub £100 satellite receiver to buy, I would prefer it to be Linux based and don't require HD, dual tuner or PVR.

I have been using a VU+ Duo (after reading the reveiw of the boss man himself) for about a year now and I love it. I am just looking for a cheaper solution for my son's room.

Thanks in advance

Cheap, cheerful, reliable and great hardware, TM500 Super all the way :)

Imo is prob the best cheap linux receiver on the market. Excellent SD picture quality, even on a 42" plasma ;)

Only downside I see with the TM 500 Super is that it doesnt integrate with the EPG very well.
It utilitses an addin on the yellow button to access epg rather than the method used in other receivers.
Other than that its great bang for buck.
