original dm800 or clarktech 9000

Hi Guys i have a spare dm800 (original) in my bedroom it hardly gets used just there if anyone else wants to watch tv up stairs ie the mrs if footy is on as the front room gadgets are my joys ;-) ( i were the pants lol)

Anyway a mate of mine has asked if i want to swap my dm800 for his clarktech 9000(2 weeks old) + £90 cash as he cant use it properly and likes the dm800

Now the dm 800 stands me @ £160 and i love this little baby!! this 14 months old

What would you guys personally do swap or keep the dm800

I would do in a heatbeat er et has it's benifits that excess the dmm and it's twin tuner too

i would add the extra and get the ET9000 personally. the dm800 is just not in the same league as the ET9000 in my opinion.

Ok guys i have taken on board your advice and i have accepted my mates offer so im now the owner of a 9000

lol, I was too late to this thread... But anyway, I did what you did kind of... but for the vu duo. I had the dm800, which is a nice box, don't get me wrong. But, I managed to sell that on, and get the duo for £50 extra. Never regretted it since :D

Only thing I miss from the 800 was the display ... it seemed much brighter than that of the duo & et9000. But all in all, defo would recommend either box over the dm800...

That can not compare, I had myself DM800 and ET9000 is a Ferrari compared to DM800
