Hi guys..

Anyone using Dreambox Live iphone app .. ??

i sorta half have it working as i can access my HDD but can not access any channels.. not even free to air..

my settings are as follows :

ip : 192.168.1.xx

label : Vu+Duo1

Zap Mode : Multituner

Quality : Low

Web Interface Port : 80

Streaming Port : 1x2x1

Username : left blank as optional

Password : left blank as optional

Cache : 2500

Force audio sync : off

Any help with this would be greatly appreicated..

the username and password are the ones u use to ftp into your box, i am using this app and it is working fine on my vu+duo and vu+solo

Working fine here too. Make sure ur streamin port is 8001. Userbame and pass as mentioned above is what you use for ftp

just got this app, but how do you set it up??

use the ip address of the duo and the http port that you have set up for it and the ftp username and pass... basically mine looks like this

host or ip address - *******.dyndns.org
Label - Vu+ Duo
Zap Mode - multi tuner
Quality - upto you
Web-Interface Port - 1222
Streaming Port - 8001
username - root
password - (whatever your ftp pass is)
and leave the rest default

that should do it

I did have slingbox working ok, but how do I access the dream app on the phone/comp to modify the settings??

Hi basil..

Its in the app on your iphone.. There are 6 buttons at the top of the screen when you open the app on your phone and its the 2nd button one from the right..

the problem I have now is,..when I try to start the app,..the app goes full screen for a few moments, then switches off ( reverts back to the main screen on the phone,..any ideas?

( i have restarted the phone ..but no difference ) and thanks by the way for your last post

my i-phone is to old ( 2g )

Not sure.. Have you trying snycing your phone again with itunes.. ??

What type of iphone do you have.. ??

As far as i remember this app is not compatable with the 3G version.. and has restrictions on the 3GS..

But works perfectly on the iphone 4 which is 4G..

Please correct me if i am wrong..
