Just got a CT9000 and have been testing movies files and can't seem to get stuff with dts working, ac3 is no problem with mix down or through my digital amp, so is this known bug?

Nice image by the way cheers

Which image are you using?

DTS downmix doesn't work on any box or image... However, it's been tested and reported that dts passthrough to an amp works perfectly on the vix team as far as I'm aware ... however, I don't have a dts amp to test this out ... sorry... Hopefully someone else can confirm now.

DTS passthrough works fine if your amp is capable of decoding DTS.

I've played 1080 mkv files from NAS drive perfect with DTS audio. I'm connect to AMP using optical lead.

Have you selected PCM in the digital audio output/input settings on the cinema system see p38 of your manual

Is your receiver connected to AMP via HDMI and optical? If so make sure your amp is switched to the correct optical input.
