Folks I realise I may be sailing a bit close to wind with this request, but if anyone could point me in the right direction as to where to find out how to set this up?
I want it to default to a single provider on certain packages i.e default to local(as for some reason it doesn't always do this?)
Any advice appreciated,
Thanks

Also, just to elaborate a bit on this... In examples where you may have 2 cards for, say sky it, and on one card you have full package (e.g. 93b), and on other card just the world package (e.g. 919), then you would set up your prio as follows:

P: 93b:0 #Sky IT Local - Full Package
P: 919:0 #Sky IT Local - World Package

This will, as default, try to use 93b. If that card goes down, or, for example, you have moto tv on the world package but not the full, it will try 93b first (since that has most of your channels on), and then try 919 afterwards...

Thats the advice I'm after :) Thanks a mill!

Sorry chaps but the advice given so far is awful.
Firstly you can not use a prio compiled by someone else as you will all have different cards available to you.

This is also another bad example

P: 93b:0 #Sky IT Local - Full Package
P: 919:0 #Sky IT Local - World Package
You can only prio one of them and also 0919 can also be a full HD package.
The correct way to prio the above is like this.

P: 093b, 0919
That way 093b will always take preference.
When using Irdeto, seca or Via it is also important to use the ident.

P: 0500:043800, 0500:042700
Both the above caids open SCT and if you have both in your share there is no point ignoring one of them.

When you have many caids that open channels such as some of the adult viewing on Hotbird you may find the channel slow to open, to improve this you can specify and caid:ident:sid combination such as this.

# Dolly Buster #
P: 0500:042200:1272 #Dolly Buster Media [V4]
P: 0500:042200:1273 #Dolly Buster Hardcore [V4]
P: 0500:042200:1274 #Dolly Buster Classic [V4]
P: 0500:042200:1275 #Dolly Buster Five Star [V4]
P: 0500:042200:1264 #Dolly Buster HD [V4]

Hopefully you get the idea now.

Donnie thanks for the comprehensive answer! Much appreciated. Just got to get to work at making my own Prio now ;)
