View Full Version : CCCam 2.1.4 & 2.2.1 not installing

Hi all,I just reflashed my box from the VTI image to VIX2.1
I can install an OScam emulator but no CCCam will register/show itself in the softcam manager. Pretty sure I am doing it all correctly:-
Using DCC to ftp .ipk to var\volatile\tmp.
Then use vix ipk installer, it asks to restart but when I go to softcam manager I can only see the oscam.
Tried 2.1.3, 2.1.4, 2.2.1 The oscam installed 1st time ?

Any ideas ?

Are you using a cccam installer for the vix image?

Forgot to say install the .ipk file there then go in softcam manager :-)

Guys, I am using enigma2-plugin-cams-cccam.2.1.4_1.1-r2_mipsel.ipk and copying to tmp. Changed atributes to 755,I see it in vix ipk installer,it runs but only runs briefly with 1 line showing in window. It then asks for reboot but never is shown in softcam.
The oscam was installed in exactly the same way from the same source etc. Is it possibly a permissions thing ?

Just install the binary file in the following location
/usr/softcams/
chmod 755 the file

You know there is no CFG file with the softcam and you will have to create one yourselve.

I have done as instructed in new BH image and the CAm is in USR softcams but when go to CAMS installed it is not there?
Have tried reinstalling and restarting Duo but no change

Help??

Guys, Thanks for your help today. I finally got cccam 1.3.1 working,and will go for 2.2.1 later. I think it is something to do with dcc. I restarted everything, deleted all cccam installs then tried ftp the .ipk again. This tie 1.3.1 installed.
I also had problems with uploading my .cfg file, when it arrived in \etc it was 0 bytes, so I decided to change attributes to 755 and edit in dcc, but when I saved it it was still 0 bytes.
I eventually ftp accross a sample .cfg file and copied and pasted my lines in then saved ok so must be attribute problems. I am on windows 7.

the vix xxxam ipk wont work in BH at all that you have to do manually as BH dont support cams at all
