HELP with TM 600

Hi guys i just bought a new tm 600 linux but whenever i turn the receiver on theres nothing coming up apart from technomate tm 600 on a yellow page that all im getting, any suggestion to get an image on my receiver to get it to start to work.

sounds like you need to flash the box with a null modem cable.

which loader do i need to do that? as i know that the old model we use tm 1000/5000 loader but on this one i have no idea any suggestion

i did not send you a image:confused: but to get the box talking with your router turn of the router and box at the same time

the router should then allocate the tm600 a ip when the router restarts as long as DHCP is turned on in your router settings :D

use TCC 7.1 and a rs323 null modem cable to flash the box, should take around 40 minutes start to Finnish.

mate i got an error which says checking receiver image...
target model name tm600 download model name hardware version is not mine. (got 0x56312e31, expected 0x56312e30)maybe you transfer the wrong file.
ERROR
my hardware model : 20363030
my hardware version: 56312e30
select another file.or select another file. or press power to reboot.

hi guys could anyone help me sort this problem having please, i flash the receiver again but it did everything correct but when it says done i restarte it it only showing 4 little green light on front and it stuck on ur screen

Try flashing again with the original image see below and then try a UR image again

are you using a null modem cable and followed the guide i posted?

Good luck mate let us know how you get on i have another program that can flash the box but no guide for it:)

Great news you have now got the box back to a factory image at least you have not stuffed it lol

you can now re-flash it with a UR image try this one

did you get the set up-walk through when the box first started after flashing the box

theres a walk through when a new image is first installed, i will ask you to set your language, your av settings, if you have one dish or a motorised one, it goes on to the point where you scan for services, and then you make bouquets of your services, so you can watch your new channels........ Then your still having problems m8, i sound like a corrupt image, but i know you got it from here, so no probs there then,can i take it you are using TCC to install your image m8, make sure it is going through the whole process, and also check all you connection are good as this could be a problem.........!!

A silly question m8,but is your remote working ok, as once you`ve install your new image and you need to move through all the settings, then im thinking that nothing will move on the screen if the remote is not working...??

ok m8, im just thinking, if it is stuck on the ur screen after you have installed the new image, then it needs something to move page by page to do all the settings, and only the remote will move it ??

mate i just turn it on it worked very well then when i restart it it stuck there again

what worked very well ?? and why did you restart it ?? do you have a cam installed on your box [ 2.2.01 ] press the blue button and do you see a cam installed

it worked well after it was left off for a few hours then when it comes on i doesnt scan for channel after a few minute the display goes blank

dude i gave up on this receiver ive return it , i went back to my old receiver technomate TM 1000CI i need some here guys i havent got all the satelite like 9E Eurobird and other satelite how can i add those satelite on my receiver

im sorry you have sent your tm600 back its one of the easiest E1 boxes to learn linux on :)

im sorry but i cant help you with the TM1000CI i have never owned one
